James Jay Palmer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2024, at the age of 68, James Jay Palmer of Greenwood, Mississippi, born in Myrtle Creek, Oregon passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Jay Palmer to pay them a last tribute.

Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Palmer and Louella Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Becky Pickett; his daughter Janet Palmer (Lacey) of Bellingham, WA; and his siblings, Becki Sackrider (Joe) of Bay Center, WA, John Palmer (Linda) of Bellingham, WA, Joel Palmer of Montesano, WA and Jess Palmer (Lisa) of Shalimar, FL..

Since Jimbo selected to have his body donated to research to advance their understanding of cancer, his ashes will be interred in their final resting place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta, P. O. Box 1718, Greenwood, MS 38930 or a charity of the donor's choice.
