It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Bassie Sr. (Greenwood, Mississippi), who passed away on May 12, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda White Bassie; his children, Jamie Bassie, Mauri Logan (Beau) and Lea Denton (Robby); his mother-in-law Evelyn White; his grandchildren, Hunter Walker, Gage Walker, Luke Logan, Trevor Bassie and Carley Bassie; his great grandchild Nate Walker of Greenwood; and his brother Ken Bassie of Leland.
The family has requested memorials be sent to a charity of choice or the Leflore County Cancer Society.
