He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Vurland Hill and Laura Slawson Hill; his daughter Mary Woodall; and his brother Floyd Hamilton Hill. He is survived by: his wife Donna Nixon Hill of Greenwood; his sons, Howard V. "Buck" Hill (Laura) of Greenwood and Robert V. "Bobby" Hill (Paula) of Carrollton; his brothers, Robert Earl Hill of Batesville and Jimmy Hill of Grenada; and his grandchildren, Michael Castle, Jamey Castle (April), Jeromy Castle (Ashley), Memory Cobble (Jonathan), Megan Kapperman (Andrew), Lindsey Hill, Brittany Hill and Mary Kathryn Hill. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
