He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry F Blount, Sr. and Ethel Mann Blount; his wife Patricia McDaniel Blount; and his siblings, Sarah Taylor, Ethel Lee Montgomery and Phillip Blount.
He is survived by: his daughter Laura Kelly of Grenada, MS; his grandchildren, Patrick, Katy, Alyssa and Mike; his siblings, Lillie Fielder of Gore Springs, MS, Thomas Blount (Ruby) of Teoc, MS and Bill Blount (Debe) of Amory, MS; his siblings-in-law, V. L. Montgomery of Grenada, MS, Trenda Blount of Teoc, MS and Elouise Jones of Minter City, MS; and his nephews, Larry Taylor, David Montgomery, Mark Fielder, Wesley Higgason, Brad Blount and Buddy Deaton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
