She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Young and Ruby Bridges Young; her husband William Andrew Turman, Jr.; and her brother James T. Young. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Turman (Debbie) of West Point and Tim Turman (Janet) of Pheba; her grandchildren, Carey Turman, Stella Turman, Taylor Turman and Dash Turman; and her brothers, Carl Young (Margie) of Shreveport and Paul Young (Celeste) of Hattiesburg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
