He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Beula L. Kimbrell Jones Jr.; his sons, George Philmore Jones Jr. and Tommy Lee Jones (Betty Ann Jones); and his sister Bernice Rochelle.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Jones (Pam) of Carrollton, MS and Tammie Cooper (Jeff) of Kiln, MS; and his siblings, Buck Jones of Clinton, MS, Tommy Jones of Montgomery, AL and Bernadine Wright of Florence, AL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
