He was predeceased by: his wives, Jane Clark Hammons and Louise Reichman Hammons; and his daughter Mary Ann McCalep. He is survived by: his children, Jayne Turner of Leland, Annette Smith Of Grenada, Edgar W. Hammons, Jr. of Greenwood and Larry Hammons of Carrollton. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
