She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Franklin and Allie Mae Crook Briscoe; and her husband Leslie Cecil "L. C.". She is survived by: her children, Kay Pleasants (Dudley) of Greenwood, Randy B. Hemphill (Martha) of Greenwood and Ray Hemphill (Sherry) of Greenwood; and her sister Sybil McGuffee. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
