She was predeceased by: her father Hiram William Wylie; her sister D. B.; her husband James William King (Jake); and her grandson William Wylie Coleman. She is survived by: her children, Katheryn King Coleman (Ray), Carolyn King Boswell (Walter), James William King, Jr. (Olivia) and Elizabeth King Barth (Mike); her grandchildren, Michael Bradley Hawkins (Claudette), Martha Boswell Brock (Lucius), Joseph Tuminello Cascio, Jr. (Sarah), Merrel Boswell Patridge (Bailey), Helen Boswell Simpkins (Daniel), Anne Todd Boswell Lockwood, Carolyn Boswell Hawkins (Chris), Walter Ira Boswell, Jr., James William King III and Catherine Blaise King; her great grandchildren, Ann Hollis, Mimsie, George, Frances, Clara James, Callaway, Price, Walt, Monroe, Mills, Polly, Bo, Ira and Olney; her cousins, Norval Yerger, Frank Mitchener, Connie Lawrence and Carol Lawrence; her nephews, Rob Butler and Bill Butler; her friends, Sally Muirhead of Greenwood, Kelley Kyte Oglesby of Little Rock, AR and Emmett Chassaniol; and her close friend A. Lee Abraham, Jr. of Greenwood, MS..
