She was predeceased by: her former husband William Eugene McPhail; her husband John Lawrence Clark; and her parents, Eddie Stephen Leon Pittman and Eva May Bedwell Pittman. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy McPhail Purdie Stokes (Jeff) of Clinton, MS and Shannon Clark Ray (Greg) of Madison, MS; her grandchildren, William Clark Purdie (Kimberly) of Clinton, MS, Laura Elizabeth Purdie Hollis (Matthew) of Livingston, LA, Reagan Elise Ray and Avery Elizabeth Ray of Madison, MS; and her sisters, Mazie Crump of Foxworth, MS, Donis Broom of Columbia, MS and Nell Little of Kokomo, MS. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, 1001 Grand Boulevard, Greenwood, MS 38930.
