He is survived by: his children, Vannessa Whitfield (Andre), Don Anthony Whitfield (Gwen), Dan Whitfield II (Marie), Kevin Whitfield (Sara) and Jiman Whitfield; and his siblings, Alberta Whitfield, Marie Whitfield and Floyd Whitfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
