He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Underwood and Carrie Childress Underwood; his son Curtis Gene Underwood, Jr.; his wife Shirley Cheek Underwood; his children, Kevin Wayne Underwood of Ridgeland, MS and Kim Underwood O'Bryant (Anthony James O'Bryant) of Cruger; his grandchildren, Anna Katherine Walton (Robert) of Greensboro, NC, Andie O'Bryant Longnecker (Jeremy) of Thibodaux, LA and Owen Underwood O'Bryant; and his great grandchildren, Kaylie Grace Ware and Nolan Earl Ware.
