He was predeceased by: his father Cleo Clayton Cooper; and his wife Diana Dubard. He is survived by: his sister JoAnne Cooper Vansuch; his children, Charles Jr. (Elizabeth), David "Bo" (Laura) and Catherine Dunn (Billy); his grandchildren, Clayton Dunn, Chandler Cooper (Erin Ashley), Cooper Dunn (Anna), Lawson Cooper (Crista), David Cooper Jr. and Caroline Cooper; his nephews, Greg Vansuch (Diane) and David Vansuch (Seth); and his niece Ellen Meehan (Mike).
