He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Robert and Helen Atkins Thompson; and his wife Dorothy Goodman Thompson. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Thompson of Jackson, MS, Pat Thompson (Angela) of Slidell, LA and Tim Thompson (Mary Lu) of Schlater, MS; his grandchildren, Mary Clair Thompson, Ellen Sandel (David), Nathan Thompson (Kayla), William Thompson, Anna Rochelle Thompson, Laura McDonald Thomas (Kevin), Ian Patrick Thompson and Clara Diane Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Collin Thomas, Darby Thomas, Arthur Thomas and Ava Nell Thomas.
