With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steve Allen Purifoy Jr. of Greenville, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 44. He was predeceased by: his mother Carla Purifoy; and his grandparents, James, Helen Gordon and Pearl Tundall Purifoy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Wright Purifoy; his daughters, Alyssa Grace Purifoy and Emma Lynn Purifoy; his siblings, Melissa Hathcock (Chuck Ramsey) of Greenville, Danny Purifoy of Greenville and Jamie Purifoy of Greenville; and his nieces and nephews, Madison Hathcock, Adalynn Chandler, Aubrey Hathcock, Tim Hathcock, Brent Purifoy and Kaylob Purifoy.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mortimer Funeral Home (711 US-82, Greenville, MS 38701). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
