He was predeceased by : his parents, David Yeager and Ruby Holloway Yeager; his sister Tammy Keeling; his nephews, Brandon Yeager and Steven Keeling; and his sister-in-law Jackie Brazelton.

He is survived by : his children, Lauren Yeager of Albertville, AL, Crystal Yeager of Boaz, AL, John Yeager of Albertville, AL, Scottie Yeager, Jr. of Boaz, AL and Ricky Yeager of Greenville; his brother Mike Yeager of Greenville; his sister Connie Yeager Morgan of Vidor, TX; his brother David L. Yeager of Vidor Tx. and his aunts, Margie Holloway and Debbie Holloway.
