She was predeceased by: her husband James Roy Montgomery; her parents, Gayden Sullivan and Alma Sillivan; and her siblings, Gordon, Calvin, Junior, Genevieve, Genella and Margie.
She is survived by: her children, James R. Montgomery, Jr. (Jimmy), Nelda Howerton of Pearl, MS and Patsy Poole (Britt) of Greenville, MS; her grandchildren, Clint Poole, Jennifer Montgomery Hanson (Matt), Lindsay Holden (Stephen) and Angie Hazzard (Shelby); and her great grandchildren, Jules, Annie, Foster Hanson, Easton, Isla Montgomery, Hadley, Haven Holden, Logan, Micah, Mary Lauren and Chole Hazzard.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Boone Funeral Home (905 Main St, Greenville, MS 38701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
