It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jessie Peacock of Greenville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Peacock and Cebell Peacock; and his siblings, Leon Peacock, Lloyd Peacock, Claude Peacock, Frank Peacock, Naomi Patterson, Herbert Peacock, Levester Peacock, Christine Zachary and Borahdean Curry.

He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Smith of Round Rock, TX, Victoria Crain (Jeffery) of McKinney, TX, Natasha Foster (Melvin) of McKinney, TX and Dexter Peacock (Miniki) of St. Paul, TX; his siblings, Dorothy Moore and John Peacock (Ann) of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Michael Lawrence Wyatt, II (Shan), Chasity Cne'Grider, Taylor Lauryn Crain, Tamara Nicole Foster, Alexandria Brielle Crain, Jada Danae'Peacock, Tyra Gabrielle Foster and Yo'Myris Semaj'e Crain; and his great grandchild Michael Lawrence Wyatt III. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Byas Funeral Home (1100 S Davis Ave, Cleveland, MS 38732). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul M. B. Church (120 S Andrews Ave, Cleveland, MS 38732).
