With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iona Geraldine Homan Wilson of Greenville, Mississippi, who passed away on July 8, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Zelma Mildred Homan and Edgar "Sonny" Homan; her siblings, Danny, Larry Jason, Charles Homan and Evelyn Toops; and her daughter Kathy Sue Fortner.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Wilson, Jr.; her siblings, Betty Jo Bradham (Delwood), Edgar Eugene Homan (Tootsie) and Billy Homan; her stepmother Mary Frances Roncali; her sister-in-law Patsy Homan; her nieces, Cindy Edwards of Greenville, MS, Karen Davis (Mark) of Denham Springs, LA and Angie Trawick (Walt) of Hollandale, MS; her grandchildren, Brandon Wilson, Chase Stevenson (Courtney), Chelsea Stevenson, Ashley, Brittany Hearn, Courtney, Nikki Kuhn and Katelyn Davis; and her great grandchildren, Grant Butler, Lainey Horner, Allie Putman, Piper Iona Putman, Andi DuBois, Camden McClure, Grayson Price, Gunnar, Skyleigh Shelton, Jett Stevenson, Denton Stevenson, Mason Stevenson, Aydan McCoy and Mason Roush.
