With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Paul Lewis of Greenville, Mississippi, born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonathan Roy (Pete) and Carrie Lee Blaylock Lewis; his brother Jonathan Roy "Pete" Lewis Jr.; and his uncle James Benoit Blaylock. He is survived by: his wife Sally "Pi" Percy Lewis; his sons, Robert Pratt Lewis (Kathryn) and William Hunt Lewis (Justin Schultz); his grandchildren, Mary Pratt, Elia Rose, Robert Joseph and Sarah Jane Lewis; his sister Beverly Lewis Coleman; and his siblings-in-law, Phinizy Percy Sheets (Gregg), William Alexander Percy (Lisa) and LeRoy Pratt Percy (Ami). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenville Cemetery (1000 S Main St, Greenville, MS 38701).
