She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur R. Salguero and Edith May White Salguero; her stepmother Ann Salguero; her aunt Leila Philleo; her brother Raymond; her sister-in-law Luetta Salguero; her parents-in-law, Norma Hinman and Carter L. Knowles, Sr.; and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Knowles, Archie Mullens, Berkley Knowles, Donald Knowles and Charleen Salguero.
She is survived by: her daughter Carla Knowles; her son-in-law Joe Duley; her son Greg Knowles; her daughter-in-law Karol Mullen Knowles; her brother Edward Salguero; her grandchildren, Nick Knowles (Carrie) and Olivia Knowles Jenkins (Kristopher); and her great grandchildren, Adrienne Jenkins and Art Jenkins.
Memorials may be made to the Mississippi Art Education Association.
