With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Annette Newman of Greenville, Mississippi, who passed away on December 17, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Arthur Newman and Helen Davis Newman. She is survived by: her siblings, Lee Newman (Paula) of Bruce and Delores Newman Darnell (J. D.) of Glen Allan, MS; her niece Casey Megow (Steve) of Nashville, TN; her nephews, Lee Newman, III (Melissa) of Brandon, MS, Will Tolliver (Christina) of Florence, Jason Tolliver (Diana) of New Orleans, LA and John Darnell, III (Emily); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Grayson Newman, Lucas, Jacob Megow, Grant Tolliver, Devin Tolliver, Brixton Tolliver, Chandler Tolliver, John Davis Darnell, Harper Newman, Samantha Darnell, Juliette Darnell, Emma Darnell, Kate Darnell, Lyra Tolliver and Farrah Tolliver.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Turkey Creek Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
