He was predeceased by: his parents, Elam Rusk Sr. and Dorothy Jones Rusk; his stepmother Mildred Rusk; and his sister Marie Nevels. He is survived by: his wife Davie McCully Rusk; his brother Arthur Rusk (Mandy); his children, Kimberly Sims (Ronnie) and Zeek McNemar (Sara); and his grandchildren, Zachary Sims, Caley Sims, Lucas Sims, Nathanial Sheler and Brittany Hernandez (Chucky). He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren; and some wonderful nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lighthouse Mission Church (2066 GCS Rd, Greenville, MS 38701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
