With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dezzie Lee Donham Johnston of Greenville, Mississippi, born in Aberdeen, Mississippi, who passed away on April 30, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Donham and Maynie Donham; her husband D. H. "Pete" Johnston; her children, Michael Johnston, Howell Johnston, Charlie Lester, Danny Lester, Evelyn Bell and Lynn Rager; her siblings, Margaret Lott, Lucille Charron, Bessie Hollins, Catherin Graves, Nelson Donham and David Donham; her grandson Paul Bell; and her great grandchild Remington Johnston.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Sullivan (Chris) of Greenville and Marion Butler (Mike) of Columbus, MS. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
