She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bardie, Sr. and Ruby Josephine Taylor Scarbrough; her husband Richard Tyler Ayers; her sisters, Sharla Jo Collins and Betty Jean Hanks; and her nephew Barry Hanks.
She is survived by: her son Greg Ayers (Jennifer) of Russellville, AL; her siblings, Janice Drennan of Leesburg, FL and Bardie Scarbrough of Leesburg, FL; and her grandchildren, Nicole Ayers and Tyler Ayers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McKibben & Guinn Funeral Service (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
