With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Garrett of Gore Springs, Mississippi, born in Ellisville, Mississippi, who passed away on June 24, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Edward and Katherine Ester Montgomery Clark; her daughter Tammy Washburn; and her siblings, Flora Ferguson, Lewis Clark and Loyd Clark.
She is survived by: her husband James Garrett; her children, Ginger Asbury of Gore Springs, Stephanie Smith, Richard Washburn of Louisiana, James Garrett, Jr. of Southaven and Bobby Clark of Southaven; her grandchildren, Jessica Washburn, Chris Washburn, Courtney Garrett, Trey Garrett, Chucky Forbes, Meagan Clark, Matt Clark, Melanie Ingle, Valeria Ingle, James Bell and Terri Page; and her sister Katherine Kappell of Wisconsin. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
