He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Eaton and Geneva Morgan Eaton; and his brothers, A. J., Hubert and Billy Joe Eaton.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Hazelwood Eaton of West Point; his son Maverick Eaton of West Point; his sister Louise Parker (Arthur) of Montpelier; his siblings-in-law, Sylvia McKee of West Point and Johnny Hazelwood of West Point; and his pet Little Lady. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
