It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Venita Garnett (Gloster, Mississippi), who passed away on March 20, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Venita Garnett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her mother Alma Garnett; her husband Noble Wood; her son Noble Preston Wood, Jr.; and her sisters, LaVerne Tomlinson, Jean Burbank, Jane Pearce and Jo Griffith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte Clark of Lamesa and Sherry Westbrook; her grandchildren, Lynn Thomas of Lamesa, Terry Clark of Euless, Mick Clark of Lamesa, Toni Henderson, Ray of Liberty, Damon Westbrook and Julie of Liberty; and her siblings, Sonny Garnett of Vernon, Don Garnett of Lubbock, Dennis Garnett of Lubbock, Evelyn Chenault of Lubbock and Wilma Little of Chikasha. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
