She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Watson Parr and Jesse Lucille Sanders Parr; her husband Kenneth T. Petty; her stepmother Theatus P. Parr; her son Steven Deron Petty; her son-in-law Dwight H. Burrow, Jr.; and her siblings, Joseph M. Pearson, Harold Pearson, Hayward "Mickey" Watson Parr, Douglas McArthur Parr, Samuel Watson Parr, Jr., Eunalene P. Johnson, Rosalyn Neely, Bonnie Zeigler and Dorothy Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Richard "Smokey" Petty (Christine) and Pam Petty Burrow; her brother Billy Ray Parr; her grandchildren, Desha, Steven (Cristen), Samantha, Nikki, Chelsey (Jordy), Lindsey Jenna (Jeffrey), Taylor (Erica), Trey and Lauren; and her great grandchildren, Austin, Courtney, Andrea, Hadley, Elliette, Ridley, Max, Brent, Dakota, Kalen, Tony and Katea.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home - Gloster (901 S Captain Gloster Dr, Gloster, MS 39638). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
