He was predeceased by: his mother Nell C. Smith; his stepfather Earl Smith; his grandparents, Marshall and Alma Kate Creech; and his father-in-law Burlon Ralph Miller.
He is survived by: his significant other Tammy Doerr; his stepsons, Albert, Burlon (Lisa) and Henry Cernich (Sarah); his grandchildren, Abbie, Allie, Maddie, Keria Cernich, Katie Cernich, Chole Cernich, Jasmine Marler and Clinton Finch; his siblings, Susie Jones (Steven), Deborah Cruthirds and Larry Crowell (Faye); and his aunt Doris Davis (Gary). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (152 S Broad St, Liberty, MS 39645). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
