He is survived by: his son Mitchell Allen Perkins; his granddaughter Elaina Christine Perkins; his brother Robert "Preston" Jones; his brother-in-law Mike Whittington; and his nieces and nephews, Bobby Jones, Brandon Jones, Joshua Jones, Tracy Dreher, Tara Jones LeBlanc and Dana Jones Haygood.
