He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonnie Poole and Taylor Poole; his son Jerry Lynn Poole Jr.; and his siblings, Jennings Poole, Cleo Huff, Louise Noble and Tera Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Poole; his children, David Clayton Poole Sr. and Linda Diane Farrugia (Pete); and his grandchildren, David Clayton Poole Jr. (SuAnn), Barclay Alan Poole and Brandi Poole Flanagan (Chris). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home (901 S Captain Gloster Dr, Gloster, MS 39638). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
