We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2025, at the age of 90, John Leslie McCabe of Gloster, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. McCabe and Irene Shurley McCabe. He is survived by: his wife Lottie Mae McCabe; his children, Vickie Cruise (Don) and Patrick McCabe (Jill); and his sisters, Sonya Dunaway and Alah Clark. He is also survived by many friends, neighbors.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt Pleasant Baptist Church (3005 Mt Pleasant Rd, Gloster, MS 39638). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at the Jacob Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
