She was predeceased by: her former husband James Hampton Lea; her parents, Alvin Sansing and Minnie Lankford Sansing; and her brothers, Charles Edwin Sansing and Alvin Francis Sansing.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Nash of Kingsport, TN.; her children, Janet Lea Zimmerman and James Lea (Holly); and her grandchildren, Lea Brister May, Fred Brister, Caroline Lea, Anne Reynolds Lea and Hannah Lea. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
