Ernestine W. Lewis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernestine W. Lewis of Gloster, Mississippi, who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Bryant Wilkinson and Doll Van Norman Wilkinson; her husbands, Howard P. McGraw Jr. and Lynwood Lewis; her son Howard Keith McGraw; and her siblings, Mary Elaine Smith, Paul Wilkinson and Malcolm Wilkinson.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon McGraw Littlefield (Blaine) and Richard Lynn Lewis (Monnisa); her grandchildren, Heather Lynn Best (Michael), Tracie Lane Littlefield Sweat, Mackenzie Lewis Creamer (Tyler), Jared Mark McGraw (Cori) and Dennis Michael Levite (Becca); her great grandchildren, Hannah Best Putman (Wade), Rae Best Corley (Cayden), Aubrey Lane Sweat and Corbin Quinn Sweat; and her great great grandchildren, Evelyn Lily Putman and Miles Maverick Phenton McGraw. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Plymouth Primitive Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
