She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Thornton and Euna Belle Thornton of Liberty, MS; and her sister Delphine Thornton McAllister (Ken Dobson, Sr.) of Denham Springs, LA. She is survived by: her children, Sumer Kohler (Clint) of Central, LA, Guy DeMars (Cindy) of Petal, MS and Todd DeMars (Jodie) of Everton, AR; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Kent (James), Derrick DeMars (Amber), Erin Austin (Ben), Brett Skinner, Andrew Skinner, Nicholas Kohler, Oliver, Roxanne Austin, Jade DeMars, Karissa and Kaleb Kent. She is also survived by nieces, a nephew.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jacob's Cemetery.
