He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dawson and Rhoda Dawson; his son Keith Dawson; his great grandchild Christopher Dawson; and his siblings, Sepha Dawson, Hazel Etheridge, Julius Dawson, Brown Dawson, John Dawson and Harry Lee Dawson.
He is survived by: his wife Ivy H. Dawson; his son Audis E. Dawson (Janis); his grandson Curtis Dawson (Laura); and his great grandchildren, Julie Dawson, Melissa Dawson, Ashley Dawson and Alyssa Littleton.
