Lavern Estelle Nash Dowd Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2020, at the age of 88, Lavern Estelle Nash Dowd of Glen, Mississippi, born in Rienzi, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earie Roscoe Nash and Letha Elizabeth Vanderford Nash; her husband Julian Dowd; and her siblings, Roscoe Nash, Willard Nash, Millard Nash, Avis Crum and Gladys Lambert.
She is survived by: her daughter Regina Sparks (David) of Glen, MS; her grandchildren, Kristen Fowler, Dustin Sparks and Justin Sparks (Kaley); her great grandchild Shiloh Sparks; and her sister Eveleline Palmer of Rienzi, MS.
Masks will be required and strict social distancing will apply during the service and visitation.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Glendale Church Steeple Fund.
