It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ward (Glen, Mississippi), born in Louisville, Mississippi, who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha Ward and Hilda Ward; and his siblings, Edith Ann Kagel, Rebecca Burgess and Charles Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Holdiness of Louisville, Mississippi.; his son David; his daughter-in-law Kathy; his grandchildren, Rebecca and Matthew; and his siblings, Gloria Joiner, Martha Nabors, Mary Sanders, Nancy Quinn (Billy), Tina Ward and Richard Ward (Iza). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials for James Ward may be given to the Chapel Hill Independent Methodist Church's Building Fund.
