She was predeceased by: her parents, Horteense Moore Bowlin Fergerson and Ben Bowlin, Jr.; and her husband Alton Wayne Cooper. She is survived by: her son Walter Allen Sanders, Jr. (Buddy) of Sandy Springs, GA..

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Historic County Line Cemetery (286 Lake Washington Rd E, Glen Allan, MS 38744).
