He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hammons; his children, Aubrey Hammons (Jennifer) of Spanish Fort, AL, Steve Hammons (Lisa) of Vancleave, MS and Cindy Hammons Mitchell Millette (Bernard) of Whitehouse, TX.; his grandchildren, Jason Mitchell (Amber) of Germany, Jaime Hammons Kozuma (Carl) of Hawaii, Kim Mitchell VanSickel of Whitehouse, TX, Jared Hammons (Christina) of Spanish Fort, AL, Robert "Bobby" Dewberry of Mobile, AL, Mark Dewberry (Dasha) of Tampa, FL and Matt Dewberry of Vancleave, MS.; his great grandchildren, Carmen, Abigail VanSickel of Whitehouse, TX, Skylar, Brannen Mitchell of Germany, Aubriana, Cameron, Olivia, Ryland Kozuma of Hawaii, Michael Jones of Spanish Fort, AL and Charlie Dewberry of Mobile, AL.; his siblings, Martha Wesson (Lee) of Maryland, Sarah Colville of Minnesota and David Hammons (Lorna) of Utah; and his siblings-in-law, Lauren Rogers of McComb, MS and Merle Clark of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
