He is survived by: his wife Paulette Smith; his children, Tyrone Smith of Louisiana and Shannon Hoskins (John Hoskins Jr.) of Pascagoula, MS; his grandchildren, Kamari Hoskins, Jayla Hoskins of Pascagoula, MS and Tyler Smith; his stepchildren, Dana Hart of Michigan, Paula Monica Adams of Georgia and LaMart Hart of Texas; his siblings, Clarence Marvin Smith (Miriam) of Lucedale, MS, Shirley Pearson Broadnax of Gautier, MS and Lindsey Mae Smith of Moss Point, MS.; his nieces, Cheryl Duncan (Kenneth) of Snellville, GA and Anita P. Sherrod of Snellville, GA; and his sister-in-law Lela Mae Stroud. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
