She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark May and Annie May (McBrayer); her husband J. V. George; her children, Gary V. George and Patricia Ann Johnson; and her siblings, Sarah Cherry, Mary Buell, Evelyn Nicholson, Betty Jean Pinter and J. C. May.
She is survived by: her daughter Jean Smith (Marshall); her son-in-law Dewey Johnson; her grandchildren, Penny Holmes (Derek), Joe Johnson (Briana) and Wendy George; and her great grandchildren, Claire, Madeline, Grant Holmes, Cash, Wyndham, Flint Johnson, Tori Dumas, Janie and Jaden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requested memorials be made to the Alzheimer's research or your favorite charity.
