We bid farewell to John Wilson Jr. of Gautier, Mississippi, born in Dover, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 22, 2025 at the age of 78. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Wilson, Sr. and Dorothy Jane Woodruff; and his granddaughter Danielle Sargent Sherman. He is survived by: his wife Helen S. Wilson; his children, J. Andrew Wilson (Samantha), Michaelanne Brimer (Ron), Christy Sharp and J. Thomas Bailey (Kim); his grandchildren, Melissa Brimer, Corey Brimer, Tyler Wilson, Ashlen Storie, Nicolas Wilson, Sarah Nicholson and Micah Maxwell; his great grandchildren, Caroline Brimer, Cooper Brimer, Dani Wilson, Layla Storie, Jack Storie, Charlotte Wilson, Carson Wilson, Isaac Nicholson and Daniel Nicholson; and his siblings, Billy, Eddie, Holly, Pete and Jackie.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Unity Spiritual Center (1700 E Railroad St, Gulfport, MS 39501). Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
