She was predeceased by: her husband Barry John McTaggart; her grandson Johnathan Hoover; her parents, Robert Spear and Pat Spear; her niece Jessica Torres; and her nephew Dax McTaggart.
She is survived by: her sons, Chris Hoover, Sr. (Vicky), Matt Hoover of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Barry McTaggart, Jr. (Rachel) and Erin Marks Pascagoula (Danny); her brothers, Bob Spear (Lucille) and Richard Spear (Anke); her grandchildren, Christopher Jr., Dalton, Kaitlyn, Nicolas, Whitney, Ezra, Owen, Luke and Wade; her great grandchildren, Michael, Kooper and Weslynn; and her pet Marmalade.
Memorials may be made in her memory to the Johnathan Hoover Scholarship Fund at Hancock-Whitney Bank.
