She is survived by: her daughter Verna Halthon, Jr. (Oliver) of Pascagoula, Mississippi; her grandsons, Oliver B Halthon, III and Joseph O. Halthon of Pascagoula; and her siblings, John Earl Smith (Irene "Kitty") of Tunnel Springs, David Lee Smith of Los Angeles, Charlie Smith, Carl Smith (Sandra), Voncile Robinson (Alfred) of Moss Point, Helen "Lois" Smith of Peterman, Cynthia Borden (Darryl) of Mobile and Barbara Smith of Moss Point. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other loved relatives and many devoted friends.
