Elizabeth Jean Cox Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2020, at the age of 86, Elizabeth Jean Cox of Gautier, Mississippi, born in Pascagoula, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lofton Charles Cox and Helen Ros Cox Flechas; her stepfather Ferdie Flechas; and her brothers, Lofton Charles Cox, Jr., Wallie Wolseh Cox and Ferdie "Butch" Flechas.
She is survived by: her sister Genevieve "Geno" Flechas of Gautier; her friend Mary Helen Allen; her nephews, Lofton Cox (Elaine), Michael Flechas and Brandon Flechas (Ellen); her niece Tenna Edmondson; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kimberly Cox Rasmussen (Ric), Emily Flechas (Daniel Westbrook), Sarah Flechas, Luca, Claudia Flechas, Julep, Iris Rasmussen and Troy Edmondson (Jennifer).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101, in her loving memory.
