It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Allan Screws of Gautier, Mississippi, born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Josephine Janik and Voncille Searcy. He is survived by: his wife Kim Ras; his sons, Nicholas X. Screws and Daniel A. Screws of Gautier, MS; his parents, Louis M. Screws of Vancleave, MS and Cynthia Janik of Mobile, AL; his brother Louis M. Screws II of Mobile; his sister-in-law Tracy Mitchell Screws of Mobile; his former wife Sarah Clark of Tucson, AZ; and his godparents, Mark Janik and Pearlann Hudson-Myer. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, a donation in Edward Allan's name be made to the Jackson County SPCA.
