She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Johan Aerosporg Nilsen and Dorothy Mae Eagles-Nilsen; her brother Johan Robert Nilsen of Montana; her former husband Donald Balius; and her significant other Jerry Borries.
She is survived by: her children, John Balius (Diane), Bradley Leggett (Connie), June Balius and Amy Balius (Shane Scara); and her sister-in-law Agnes Nilsen (Johan Robert). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous friends and family.
