He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Ray Smith; his wife Angela Kim Petereit Smith; and his sister Janice Kay Smith Mullin. He is survived by: his children, Trista Marie Smith (Jere Shuster) of Ocean Springs and Logan Shane Smith of Monroe, GA; his grandchildren, Shon, Star and Stone of Ocean Springs, MS; his brother Michael Lee Smith (Katrina) of Chattanooga, TN; and his nephews, Michael Austin Smith of Chattanooga, TN and Chad Raymond Smith of Mooresville, NC.
